The Almighty Bible (www.thealmightybible.com) launches simultaneously as an Apple App and as a Graphic Novel, Sept. 15, with the release of Book 1 - "GENESIS.

Little Rock, AR (Vocus) August 26, 2010 - The Almighty Bible is a new bible series that combines the fastest growing book format for young people (Graphic Novels) with the newest technology (iPad/Phone App), creating a bible for today's kids and teens. The first book in the series - Genesis - sports a biblically accurate concise storyline that is complimented by dramatic illustrations that bring the story and characters to life in a way that is designed to stimulate young people's interest in the bible.

"A lot of today's kids and teens resist reading the traditional bible. We've made the bible as engaging and entertaining as possible." says Kevin O'Donnell, the project's producer. As he puts it; "We have a team focused on making The Almighty Bible a beloved biblical brand for parents and their kids alike." O'Donnell is the creator of three network series including the multiple-Emmy nominated Liberty's Kids that brought the American Revolution to life and aired on PBS and has been one of their top selling school programs for much of the past decade.

The National Study of Youth and Religion shows that over 77% of youth (13-17) associate themselves with one of the denominations of Christianity. Yet 48% of those surveyed claim to never read scriptures alone. The Almighty Bible attempts to gain the attention of these adolescents who are spending nearly 8 hours a day using entertainment media but less than a half hour reading traditional books. The Almighty Bible isn't a traditional book - it is a graphic novel that is also coming out as an application with narration, pop up maps and interactivity.

The app will be available for the iTouch (65% of users are under 17), iPhone (13% of users are under 17) and the iPad. The app includes narration, full pop up text along with various research materials. "We're just scratching the surface of all we will be able to do for our readers. We are already building new features into our application based on our first feedback - which was already extremely positive."

The financing for the venture comes from Apple of the Eye, a company founded on Christian principles, with offices in Seoul and Los Angeles. Dong Chung, an experienced producer who has crafted international co-productions with companies such as Focus on the Family and DIC Entertainment, is overseeing the global distribution and also brought Apple of the Eye into the venture.

"The name of our company, Apple of the Eye, means 'in God's eye' and we believe our projects must be for good. One of our key executives, Dr. Joon Lee introduced us to Dong and Kevin. As soon as they showed me The Almighty Bible, I knew we wanted to be part of it." says Daniel Park, CEO of the company, and an experienced media packager with numerous hit movies and musical acts in Korea and throughout Asia.

The Almighty Bible is already available on Amazon for pre-orders and is expected to be available on iTunes as of September 15. Interested readers can go to the website, www.thealmightybible.com to learn more.
